so i am not one that believes in fate.
but i do believe things will get better
and that dwelling on something just
makes for misery. i am not one to say
“oh its okay that _____ happened, that
was just meant to happen and its fate”
meaning i believe things happen because
of choices we make. ‘fate’ says that things
are predetermined. i believe otherwise,
nothing has to happen a certain way.
confusing topic, i know. but i feel fate
is just something people say to make
themselves not responsible for what
happens, sort of blaming ‘fate’ because
you cant really blame anyone, so “fate”
is the ultimate scapegoat.

so today i came across this:
“If you truly love something let it go, if it comes back it was meant to be.”

i really like it and it made me stop and actually
try and stop stressing and let some things go
because i know things will eventually look up,
and sometimes its best to just move foward from
the past and keep your eyes peeled for whats headed
your way…. thats my way of intrepreting that.
(i dont believe the second part, about ‘it was meant to be’ but i do believe
if it does come back thats just fine)

basically what im trying to say is if youre too busy
looking over your shoulder at something that you’ve
already past, you will miss everything coming your way
while your heads turned, and when you realize this,
you probably missed a lot of amazing things already,
so look ahead and embrace all opportunities coming.

hold on tight. it`ll be one hell of a ride. i promise.
